May 16 through June 14
A serious and adult play about two women, Karen Wright and Martha Dobie, who run a boarding school for girls. After a malicious youngster starts a rumor about them, the rumor soon turns to scandal and precipitates tragedy for the two women. One of the great successes of this distinguished writer.
