A fictionalized account of the 1925 Scopes “Monkey” Trial, which resulted in John T. Scope’s conviction for teaching Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution to a high school science class.  This is a colorful, picturesque and absorbing essay in dramatic Americana.

Performance Times:

Performance times are 8 pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  There are three Sunday matinees:   June 2 and 9 matinee performances begin with a continental brunch (included in price of ticket) at 12:15 pm, and the show begins at 1 pm.  The June 16 performance starts at 1 pm with refreshments during intermission (included in price of ticket).

Tickets:

Regular ticket prices are $25 general and $20 for Students, Seniors and TBA members.  Thursday, May 30, June 13 and 20  performances are $17 for everyone, with a bargain Thursday (no reservations – first come, first seat!) held on June 6 – all tickets $10.  Brunch Sunday performances and Opening night are $25 for everyone.  All ticket prices include refreshments.
